Philippine Transmarine Carriers (PTC) strengthens its commitment to building for tomorrow with Impact, Sustainability,
and Value in its 44th year of service through the establishment of PTCitizenship, a
collaborative, inclusive, and participative Employee Citizenship and Engagement
Program. PTCitizenship aims to provide opportunities for volunteerism and
participation for PTC employees in sustainability programs that have a significant
impact on communities and stakeholders of PTC, including families of GMPs, youth, and
future GMPs.
This is in pursuit of PTC's commitment to contribute to the United Nations Sustainable
Development Goals (UNSDGs) specifically SDG8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, and
SDG11: Sustainable Cities and Communities.
Volunteering programs for PTC employees include activities related to teaching
the youth through Sea Mariners, coastal cleanups, and sustainability
initiatives through "Plastic Free Starts With Me" and disaster preparedness
and humanitarian support through RISE.
